4TH OF JULY AND JACKSON LAKE

Fireworks in Jackson are amazing. Everybody crowds into the ballpark at the base of Snow King Mountain, and they let the fireworks off above us. A bunch of our Thompson cousins were there and some of their friends.

Gavin and Aunt Lana.
Gavin and Aunt Leslie. We left Chloe in Layton, UT for 2 weeks with Darin's brother Denny family. That's why she is missing from the photos.

On the 5th we went up the Jackson Lake with my parents to hang out on the boat. This is Gavin and Darin fishing. They didn't catch anything.

That's the Teton's behind the boys.

I had fun just sitting in the sun, reading a book.

THE NEILSON FAMILY REUNION AT LAGOON

Darin and Gavin on the Lady Bug Bop. The people sitting next to them are from Jackson. We just ran into them there.

Brooke and Gavin couldn't get enough of the little kids rides. They were addicted.

Teresa, Darin, myself, and Darins cousin Christine and husband Lynn getting drenched on Rattlesnake rapids.

Gavin and Brooke again. Gavin looks frightened!

GAV'S 2ND PARTY IN UTAH

Gavin wanted badly to go to Chucky Cheese's. So, on his actual birthday we were in Layton and Teresa and I loaded up all the kids and drove to the nearest restuarant. It was in Sandy. Quite the drive for pizza and a few games, but we had fun.

Chloe, D.J, Gavin, Brooke, Zane, and Hailey Bassett. Darin's brothers kids from Layton, UT.

GAVINS 4TH BIRTHDAY

We had Gavin's friends from daycare over to Grandma Thompson's house to have a slip n slide party. It was bitter sweet because he wont be going to daycare anymore and will miss his friends that he has known since he was born.

Baseball, Brrrrrrr

Baseball season was soooooo cold. It was in the 30's and 40's for most of it. People were in winter coats and the kids wore turtlenecks and sweatshirts. I wrapped up in a coat and beanie hat, and wrapped a blanket around my legs. Sounds fun, huh? Jackson was seeing snow showers all through June this year.

Chloes coach switched the kids around to different positions every game. Chloe looks good a catcher I thought.

Bassett Family Reunion June 2008

Okay, so I haven't been working since early June, and I am just getting around to starting this blog. Sad, I know. I decided I would go back and give a review of our summer anyways.

Chloe got out of school June 10th, and that was also my last day of work. YEAH!! Three days later we drove to Idaho to Christine and Lynn's house for the Bassett family reunion. Their house was right on the Snake River, and we had a blast. They also took us to a potato farm that had a zip line and water tube slide. Lot's of fun.

The mega inner tube train. I think the adults had more fun then the kids.

Darin's grandmother Norma and his mother Melanie.

Grandma Norma with her grandkids and great grand kids that came to the reunion. Darin is missing cause he had to go change and primp in the bathroom.
